Welcome

Welcome to the Members page of the International Association of CyberPsychology, Training, and Rehabilitation (iACToR)!

iACToR is an international non-profit association designed to promote Virtual Reality, DTx and other advanced technologies as adjuncts to more traditional forms of therapy, training, education, and rehabilitation. We also investigate the impact, positive and negative, of Social Networking on individual behaviour and society.

We have a MedLine journal, CyberPsychology, Behavior & Social Networking (CYBER), now in its 28th year.  The journal is published by Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. Publishers in New York.  http://www.liebertpub.com/overview/cyberpsychology-behavior-brand-social-networking/10/

We organize an International Conference, CyberPsychology, CyberTherapy & Social Networking, CYPSY, now in its 29th year.  The YPSY29 conference will be held in Porto, Portugal 30 June to 2 July 2026.  https://cypsy29.ulusofona.pt/

The CYPSY28  conference will be held in Sydney, Australia from 15-17 July 2025. https://www.cypsy28.com http://www.interactivemediainstitute.com

This Ning forum was created for iACToR members to discuss, share, collaborate, and implement important ideas and to stay in touch as an online community.  We also have a Facebook page maintained by iACToR's Secretariat, Interactive Media Institute, a 501c3 non-profit established in 2001.  http://facebook.com/InteractiveMediaInstitute

Our Secretariat has been an APA Approved Sponsor of Continuing Education courses, both in-person and online, since the early 2000s.

We hope you will join us and help build our community to inform and educate, and to help others use technology more responsibly, improving the lives of individuals worldwide!
