 nomics. It has a long standing history and is one of the first confere
 nces in the area of cognitive ergonomics, human technology interaction
  and cognitive engineering. It aims to provide an opportunity for rese
 archers and practitioners to exchange new ideas and practical experien
 ce in all areas of cognitive ergonomics. By presenting and discussing 
 innovative research, ECCE2010 participants will explore knowledge and 
 research areas in cognitive ergonomics with the aim of developing and 
 enhancing the relationship between cognitive sciences and technical in
