In other important iACToR news, CyberPsychology, Behavior and Social Networking, one of the two official journals of iACToR, saw a significant increase in impact factor for 2011. The authoritative monthly peer-reviewed journal which explores the impact of the Internet, multi-media, and virtual reality on behavior and society, now has an impact factor for 2011 of 1.803 and is ranked 7 out of 67 in the communication category of the JCR Social Sciences Edition! This is an increase from 1.591 in 2010.

Now with an expanded focus on social networking, the Journal examines the psychological and social issues surrounding the Internet and interactive technologies, including Twitter and Facebook.   4. Invite your colleagues! On the right hand side, under your name, next to the friends hyperlink is an Invite hyperlink. We encourage you to invite your colleagues to join in the discussion.

  5. Update Your Profile and Comment on Others! Keep members up to date with your latest information. Post a blog, update your status, add a picture of yourself, and let the community know your area of expertise. All can be done with in your Profile page and we encourage you to do so!
